Warrior Slogans

There are 59 warrior slogans in the lojong teachings but how do they pertain to modern day life? How do we adopt these teachings? It’s one thing to have the intention to practice them but, without the understanding on where to start, the whole thing can feel hopeless. I’m going to break them down for you and apply them to my own experiences to offer you a more real and approachable way to begin your warrior training.

Let’s start by connecting the warrior slogans to your subconscious, one by one. The biggest thing I’ve learned so far, in my personal journey, is that it takes a considerable amount of practice to change the patterns you’ve created. There are times when I have had to repeat one of these slogans to myself every 5 minutes to get through a day and continue this for weeks until my mind stopped playing the negative tapes. Becoming a warrior is not easy but the path will bring about more joy and peace than anything else. You will become a solid and motivating light to others around you, just keep up the journey and don’t give up!
